Off-cuts
The majority of contracts we take on require us to cut to size full-sized slabs to the specific measurements of the customers' project. This occasionally creates smaller pieces of stone that are surplus to the project's requirements, producing off-cuts.
Why should I use off-cuts?
Off-cuts are the remnants of large format slabs that were used for large projects.
There is no decrease in quality when choosing an off-cut. However, there is often a decrease in price of up to 50%, making it perfect for those working with a tighter budget.
Where to use off-cuts?
While off-cuts are not ideal for larger projects, they are perfect for smaller jobs such as:
- Vanity tops
- Counter-tops
- Shelves
- Windowsills
- Table-tops
- Fireplace hearths
- Outdoor BBQ areas
